Samick Guitars and United Sales Proudly Present

GREG BENNETT

For many of you, Greg Bennett needs no introduction. A 30-year veteran of the guitar industry and renowned fingerstyle virtuoso, Greg knows what makes a guitar sound the way it should. Spend five minutes with him and his passion for and love of guitars is not just obvious, its downright contagious. While it’s true that Greg has designed guitars for internationally known guitar manufacturers including Gibson, Washburn, Ovation, Ibanez, Martin, and Larrivee and it is also true that he created the first shallow body cutaway electric acoustic which revolutionized the guitar industry, you won’t hear any of that from Greg. What you’ll hear is his love of the instrument—why it sounds the way it does—how to make it’s sound better—how to make it’s sound yours. And quite surprisingly, he’s funny. We don’t think he means to be, but he can make basic construction techniques and pickup configurations unexpectedly entertaining.

Greg’s current and most extensive project is his work with Samick Guitars, the world’s leading guitar manufacturer. He has designed over 250 models completely replacing all of Samick’s existing models. His signature line includes solid-bodies, semi-hollow electrics, jazz guitars, solid-body basses, acoustic guitars, resonators, ukuleles, Barcelona classic guitars, banjos, and mandolins. Without question, it is one of , if not the, most extensive and affordable line in the guitar industry.

Greg will be in the southeast beginning in September. He will conduct a two-hour workshop covering everything you need to know about evaluating the performance and quality of an acoustic guitar culminating in a fingerstyle performance that you’ll have to see to believe. Check back often….we’ll be posting dates and locations of Greg’s clinics soon!
